babyshorts series one

“WARM GUN”

babyshorts is a film series that collates together loose and back-of-pocket narratives with no budget, no film crew, no scripts, no film school, no backing. It attempts to curate stories of independent filmmakers in Western Sydney, where a rich foundation of histories and diasporic voices reside. It is a platform for creatives to showcase these stories through the medium of film as an exercise in creating concise self-produced projects. Workshopping is generally the core of the series, by gathering who you can and by necessitating community in non-for-profit filmmaking projects. babyshorts is about creating things we can’t afford.

The first of the babyshort series, "WARM GUN" is a love story of a girl and her weapon.
